About Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks and its history

The origin story of Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks goes back to the mid-1960’s, when Harry Morse Sr. decided to switch from dairying to operating a sugaring operation and a small, decidedly rustic store focused on maple and Vermont products.

Harry Sr. passed the business to his son, Harry “Burr” Jr., who operated the business for almost 40 years, and left his distinctive imprint on the business.

Jake Shattuck (a Morse on his mother’s side) is the 3rd owner of this long established Vermont family business.
